We had great success yesterday with potty training, but this morning was a little rough. His diaper was wet when I got him out of bed, and it was downhill from there. But he did well this afternoon, and had 4 pees in the potty! I am so proud of Thomas, he really struggled to realize that he had had an accident. But now will run to the potty just in time! I'm so thankful for my sweet little guy.
Today at Bible Study I had a conversation with our study leader about homeschooling. Each of her 3 children have had some homeschooling, Christian and public school teaching. While none of them completely met the needs of her children, each system helped for whatever phase they were going through. Most of the early years were at home, and I wonder if homeschooling is in our future. Thomas is so distractible, it seems that 1-on-1 teaching is almost mandatory for him to learn difficult concepts. If we are headed towards homeschooling, the Lord needs to give me a lot more patience!
Sammy is strong-willed, but such a rich personality. I really get a kick out of his interests. He brings me his favorite Elmo plate or Cookie Monster spoon, just to show me that he likes it. Sammy is a bright little ray of sunshine. We are so blessed.
